MyVyaapar: an app we are building for local shops
We are building it to help shops, bakeries, salons and cafes take orders and win repeat customers. It has not launched yet.

What we want to fix for local shops
Everything on paper
Sales, credit and stock often live in notebooks. Records get lost and the sums take time.
Missed questions
Customer questions land on the owner's personal WhatsApp and get buried. Slow replies lose sales.
Marketplace fees
Delivery and marketplace apps take a cut of each order, and they own the customer relationship.
Walk-ins walk away
Customers pay and leave with no way to stay in touch, so a festive offer cannot reach them.

Owners will print their own QR stands, so a walk-in can scan and become a customer they can reach again.

WhatsApp messages to customers
Customers will get receipts and reorder reminders on WhatsApp, so a one-time visit can turn into a repeat one.

Menu to catalogue
An owner will photograph a paper menu or bill, and it will become an online catalogue.
Set up by chat
It will walk owners through setting up their shop in a WhatsApp chat, with no complex software to learn.
Repeat-customer offers
It will notice who has not visited in a while and send them an offer on WhatsApp.
